Expansion of high-end office space for Deutsche Bank AG
The Postbank high-rise building was built from 1965 to 1971 according to plans by Prosper Lemoine who was inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s Seagram Building in New York.
On behalf of Deutsche Bank AG, office space was expanded for employees of the DB Credit Service GmbH.
The entire IT infrastructure was completely rebuilt including extensive pipe routing and connections to the decentralized server room.
Some parts of the expansion were performed in occupied areas.
Due to the very tight deadlines, close coordination was required between the structural engineers, building technicians and the IT technology.
Additionally, the work was carried out under the special security requirements of the Postbank.
The office space was handed over on time and within budget .
