Realization competition of an elementary school
The single-story building blends harmoniously into the landscape. The school even becomes a part of it due to its three green themed courtyards:
– Library courtyard
– Botanic courtyard
– Festival courtyard – which is connected to the multi-purpose hall
The themed courtyards offer easy orientation within the building. The courtyards are surrounded by two group modules, each providing four classrooms, two breakout rooms and a common vestibule.
The main entrance is located east facing the main road; a side entrance leads directly to the schoolyard in the West. The school cafeteria stands out of the regular structure because of its design as an organic shaped wooden element.
